Dawesteniel (Da), the Director of DA’S Music School, believes that “everyone was born with musical talents, but most never received the opportunity to develop those talents.” Da’s Music School’s vision is to help people build and develop their musical talents. Da has been teaching music for over a decade. He and his staff are amazing, warm, and loving leaders who make sure each and every student feels confident in his or her abilities. Da’s Music School’s goal is to make sure each student become more confident and able to display his or her musical talents with each lesson.

Da’s Music School is located in Miami Gardens, Florida. We provide exceptional music education. Our program is designed to suit students of all ages and levels, including adult students.

Our diverse faculty consist of life long musicians. Musicians that have performed throughout the community and worldwide. Our teachers have received their musical education from such prestigious institutions as The Juillard School, University of Miami, Florida International University, University Institute of Music Studies Caracas, Santa Clara Music Conservatory (Cuba),Centro Universitario de Estudios Musicales (Mexico).
What will I learn from my lessons at Da’s Music School?
Whether you want to learn Beethoven or Bruno Mars, our teachers are dedicated to helping step by step to reach your goal. They will show you the fundamentals of sight reading, technique and theory, and incorporate your favorite songs into your lessons.
Do I have to know how to read music?
No. Beginners of all ages are welcome!
How long does it take to learn Instrument?
The answer is determined by many variables such as age, retention, speed of learning. The main variable though is the time that is dedicated to practicing. If a students practices for 30 minutes 2-3 days a week. They should be able to play multiple songs on their instrument within a year. Advanced mastery typically take 4-5 years. Music though is a lifelong activity that can be played for your amusement, it can be taught to others, and it can be enjoyed with friends and family.
Are there recitals?
Absolutely! If you wish to perform. Da’s Music School has numerous mini studio recitals. As well as larger Spring, Summer, and Winter Concerts.

As practicing can be difficult at home sometimes, students are able to come to practice for 30 minutes one time throughout the week AT THE STUDIO! Parents must call prior to confirm that space is available.
